Russian Scientist: Closest Thing To Zombie Outbreak Is Ebola (Video)

A Russian scientist once said: "The closest scenario to a 'zombie outbreak' is Ebola"

Why did he say that? It should be obvious if you know a few things about Ebola.

Once the disease has got you good, you're reduced to a stuttering, mumbling, walking disease dispenser.

Imagine walking down the street and you see 3 or 4 people covered in blood, blood oozing from their eye sockets, ears, nostrils and mouth... saying to you "help me, help me" as the limp along approaching you. As the disease eats away at their brains, they are reduced to child-like stumbling walking corpses. Their instinct is to go to someone for help, but in doing so they're going to infect you. So you either run or if you are cornered...

Now imagine entire cities, metropolitan areas under military occupation, divided into sectors and zones, surrounded by perimeters, patrolled by gunships with squads of NBC-warfare troops sweeping the streets, killing the infected who are "too far gone"...

In 1976 doctors tried to explain why hundreds of people became "ghostlike" and resembled "zombies" before dying of the Ebola virus in Zaire. Victims complain of headache and fever before hemorrhaging starts throughout the body. Reports of blood spurting out all orifices - eyes, mouth, anus, tears in the skin - sent U.S. researchers scrambling to know more about this virus.
