Pyongyang has blasted the upcoming drills as a rehearsal for nuclear war. The exercises which will begin on Monday involve tens of thousands of South Korean and US troops. Tensions have already been running high on the Korean Peninsula with the two neighbors locked in a war of words and threats. The North has conducted missile and rocket tests in recent months, saying they're legitimate self-defense exercises.
