Larouchepac says the United States should not tolerate Obama exercising power for another day after this Election

Peace and Economic Growth Are Possible: Obama Must Go

The United States and its people should not tolerate Barack Obama exercising power for another day after this Election Day, in which he has personally ruined the Democratic Party which lacked the guts to tell him to get out of office. The Democrats cannot say they were not told, precisely and repeatedly by EIR and LaRouche PAC representatives over the past year, that they had to push Obama out of office themselves and reclaim their voters from the disaster he represents. The "shocking" success of Kesha Rogers' Texas campaign for Senate was the crucial proof of that.

The commentaries are many, like that of former CFR head Leslie Gelb on Nov. 2: Obama's aides may be bad but they reflect what he selected them to carry out — Obama himself is the problem. He is the problem not only for the Democratic Party, but for the United States military and Congress: With another disaster yesterday in Obama's so-called "war against ISIS terrorism," it is clear that at the cost of lives and treasure he is accomplishing worse than nothing — spreading terrorist groups' numbers and range, intensifying the confrontation with Russia and China and threatening even thermonuclear war. He is the problem for the American population which has lost all hope of an actual economic recovery and a productive future for coming younger generations.

The point is that the solutions to the problem Obama represents, are immediately possible. The new dynamic around the BRICS nations, since their July Summit and the agreements for their new international development banks, represents the potential both for cooperation among nations, and for rapid economic growth and productivity. It is not merely discussed; they are doing it: New Panama and Suez Canals are being built; high-speed rail corridors of development are being built all across Eurasia and begun across Africa; they are taking the lead in space exploration and China is racing ahead with plans to mine the Moon for thermonuclear fusion fuel and develop fusion power. They are setting up development bank credit systems for long-term infrastructure investments all over the world without the condition of imposing suicidal austerity programs.

"Productivity," said economist and EIR founding editor Lyndon LaRouche in discussing "the long-term view of today's current-term events" with the LaRouche PAC Policy Committee today. Productivity is the key thing the economy needs to grow. "Productivity in the United States economy peaked in about 1982 and has gone downhill ever since, and dived into the Bush League" LaRouche said. Real productivity records agree with him about the productive powers of labor in the U.S.; that is the basic reason that Americans do not believe the claptrap about "recovery" under Obama, because their real incomes keep going down, and down.

Real productivity and growth is what the "BRICS dynamic" offers the United States and Europe. Obama has responded: "Smash them." His White House has forced a few leading countries, for example, to work against the BRICS infrastructure banks — countries that are already starting to regret deeply that they went along with Obama and the British on this one. Obama has been on the string of the British Royals and Privy Council since the G20 meeting of February 2009 in London, and their response is to try to smash the BRICS, and provoke Russia to war.

The pessimism Americans have been expressing about their country comes from tolerating "leadership" epitomized by Presidents like Bush and Obama who are worse than worthless leaders.

Obama has to be removed from power now. LaRouche has noted that Bill Clinton, particularly now, has a key role to play in organizing the process of a new Presidency. And he has noted the recent strong response to his own policy solutions in this crisis, coming from the greater New York City area, with what he termed its high "intellectual productivity." This can be a pivot for radiating those solutions out into the country.

Obama's "Moderate Rebels" Scam Caught Feeding al-Qaeda, ISIS, Again

Al-Qaeda's Jabhat Al-Nusra front "routed" the Obama administration's Syrian "moderate rebels card" over last weekend, driving the U.S.-funded and -armed Free Syrian Army out of its main northern strongholds in the province of Idlib. These supposed U.S. allies defected to al-Nusra's ranks, surrendered, or fled over to Turkey, handing over "significant quantities of weaponry," including U.S.-made TOW anti-tank missile launchers, to al-Nusra in the process, the Washington Post reported in a front-page story yesterday.

The debacle ended "hopes that Washington will readily find Syrian partners in its war against the Islamic State," the Washington Post admitted, as "the loss of northern Idlib province could prove a crippling blow to the moderate rebels."

So much for Obama's $500 million program, announced in June and backed by the gutless U.S. Congress, to train and equip "moderate rebels" under the pretext of fighting ISIS.

Nor can they claim this is the first time such a debacle has happened. The remarks of Russian President Vladimir Putin in his address to the Valdai International Discussion Club, as regards U.S. and allied support for open neo-fascists and Islamic radicals, come to mind: "Why do they support such people? They do this because they decide to use them as instruments along the way in achieving their goals, but then burn their fingers and recoil. I never cease to be amazed by the way that our partners just keep stepping on the same rake, as we say here in Russia, that is to say, make the same mistake over and over."
