It's about to get really cold these next few years, this is the next cycle of cooling as the Sun hibernates leaving us very few sunspots. You can see in this chart the down trend of warm weather, and the uptrend of cold weather.. and it will only get worse.
This next "little ice age" is going to be worse than what we have experienced in the 1400-1800's, the pattern is obvious from the chart above and below:
