Fake Sarah Palin Quotes, Hannity Interviews That Never Happened
A Facebook page called “StopTheWorldTheTeabaggersWantOff” (Stop the Tea Party) is making memes with fake Sarah Palin quotes, citing Hannity interviews that never happened. The memes are designed to make her look like a blithering idiot, racist and xenophobe. The real idiots are the ones who believe these posts.
This image claims that Sarah Palin referred to Eskimos as “foreigners” in a Hannity interview she was never on. Her last Hannity interview for November 2014 was on November 7, 2014. Sarah Palin’s husband of over 26 years – Todd Palin – is part Yup’ik Eskimo. Their five children and two grandchildren have Yup’ik in their blood.
This fake Sarah Palin quote paints her as a racist speaking about the Ferguson rioters and looters. She never said the words quoted in the image on any TV or radio interview, on Sarah Palin Channel, or in any social media post. Once again, her last Hannity interview for November 2014 was on November 7, 2014. Sarah Palin did not appear on Hannity’s show on either the 19th or the 25th of November 2014.
Further, Sarah Palin has not spoken about Ferguson at all in any interview, on her Channel, or in any social media post.
Just because it’s on the Internet does not make it true.
The people who make these memes are lying to their own followers. Their end – making Sarah Palin look the fool – justifies their means. They make up interviews that never happened – to lend “authority” to these fake Sarah Palin quotes – knowing that most people will not bother to fact check.
These people are low.
If Sarah Palin has an interview with a Fox News host, Fox News posts the video, which gets copied onto YouTube. US for Palin runs her interviews often less than an hour after they’ve aired on TV.
