Publisher's Press Release for 'Blood Feud' Stokes the Flames for Impeachment
A press release issued June 26 by Regnery Publishing, which published Ed Klein's Blood Feud, is stoking the flames for the impeachment of Obama.
Titled "Benghazi Bombshell," the press release says,
"New insider information about the day of the 2012 Benghazi attacks has revealed that Hillary Clinton resisted Barack Obama's plan to deceive the American public—though she ultimately obeyed the president.
"As Ed Klein's new book Blood Feud first made public this week, Hillary Clinton knew the attack on the American embassy in Benghazi was a premeditated act of terrorism. In fact, she had been briefed extensively throughout the day on the unfolding events. But when President Obama called her at 10 p.m., he asked her to go along with the White House talking points that characterized the attack as a 'spontaneous protest' over a video.
"'Mr. President, that story isn't credible,' Hillary told Obama, according to a Blood Feud excerpt released in the New York Post.
"But the president was adamant. 'Hillary,' he told her, 'I need you to put out a State Department release as soon as possible.'"
Regnery sent out the press release to a broad audience with a picture of the book's striking cover: a photo of Hillary and Bill Clinton at the top, lurid letters BLOOD FEUD diagonally slashing the front cover, a photo of Michelle and Barack Obama (in designer dress and tux, respectively) below. The promo urges everyone to "join the conversation" about this shocking book.
