The new STEREO animation (showing best iSON observation angles) is also useful for visualizing the upcoming iSON milestones...
11/01/13 -- iSON enters the ecliptic and crosses Earth's orbital path.
11/12/13 -- iSON crosses Venus' orbit and will likely interfere with Mars' IMF causing elevated X-ray flux activity on the SUN.
11/15/13 -- Mercury orbits between the SUN and iSON. Expect simultaneous electro-magnetic interaction between iSON, Mercury and the SUN.
11/23/13 -- iSON crosses Mercury's orbital path.
11/28/13 -- iSON slingshots around the SUN. (We'll need to find shelter underground way before then)
12/26/13 -- iSON makes its closest approach to Earth.
01/15/14 -- Earth passes through iSON's debris field.
From now until iSON's passing, keep your EYES on the SUN!!!!!!
