World War III: On the Brink

In the Introduction to my book, The Omega Manifesto, I pose the following question: What if we wake up one day and the world is completely different from the world we have always known? I go on to warn of the coming radical paradigm shift that will soon overtake the globe. In the book I all but avoid specific scenarios and focus more on the war of ideas, but in light of international developments that have take taken place over the last 48 hours, I want to propose a frightening scenario that is all-too-real.
