Futuristic 'Hyperloop' Designs Revealed: Could 800 Mile Per Hour Concept Work? (+Renderings)

Kind of crazy but pretty genius inventor Elon Musk (who is in control of both SpaceX and Tesla Motors) published designs for the so-called Hyperloop on Monday. The system could propel people through space at speeds up to 800 miles per hour. Musk says he's too busy to design it but published the plans for people to see and build on themselves. He got mad when he found out the exorbitant cost of the potential California high speed rail (which isn't that high speed) and started designing the Hyperloop.
