They also speak openly about the life since the verdict where they fear for their lives over the death threats directed at them and live in hiding, as does their son George. When asked what they would say to Trayvon Martin's parents, Zimmerman's mother replied, "As parents, that we are deeply sorry for this tragedy. Deeply sorry.
