The 'Great Giant' Mt. Vesuvius has awoken this morning. After several days of harmonic tremor signs under the volcano forcing rangers to stop public access to the crater, we have signs of phreatomagmatic eruptions emitting from the crater this morning. All of Naples is now on high alert.
