Using Epsom Salts in the garden is probably something your grandparents and great-grandparents used to do. It’s one of those old timer tips that for whatever reason has largely not been passed down through the generations… I suspect this is due to the marketing and advertising for modern, supposedly better garden feeds and fertilizers. The irony is that many of this far more expensive products actually contain Epsom Salts!
Epsom Salts are cheap to buy and they are pretty much great for all plants, flowers, fruits and vegetables. They help to strengthen roots, prevent disease and they even double crop yields in some cases.
