Update: Magma Rising - El Hierro, Canary Islands After 5.4 Earthquake

The video update below from Dahboo7 shares that magma is now rising at El Hierro volcano in the Canary Islands after a 5.4 earthquake earlier today. Previous report below video.



What is being termed a moderate magnitude 5.4 earthquake has struck in El Hierro, Canary Islands as shown below from the EMSC-CSEM. Canary Islands recently raised there volcano alert to yellow in response to a disturbing earthquake swarm in recent days. This 5.4 quake is the largest one yet in this swarm and can also be seen in the graphs below. The newly released video directly below speaks volumes and the video at the bottom of the page gives a history and summary of El Hierro for those unaware of the potential significance of an El Hierro volcanic eruption.
