This will bring you up to speed on ISON’s progress. We’ll pass through her debris field around mid January next year, but she makes her trip around the sun in less than a month. Depending on the solar activity ISON encounters we could see just about anything happen, from a break up to an extremely bright visible comet.
Meanwhile, wild world weather systems are covered here as the sun continues its magnetic shutdown. Again, that doesn’t mean the sun can’t let off a mega CME at any time, and you’ll see here a huge sunspot cluster with real potential is coming around on the sun right now, although overall the activity has been less than expected. – Zen
