ISON is a Hyperbolic Celestial Body and she's hot to trot. Ison Has been traveling from 10,000 to 3.6 Billion years just to do one dance with our Sun and then leave the Solar System. All Governments and All Profffesional scientists swear 100% that Comet ISON has 0% of harming any life on Earth in anyway ever. So that's comforting right? Yeah so. In 12 days, on October 1st, Ison will appear in the field of view of NASA's SECCHI STEREO Ahead camera. That's exciting. But wait! It gets better! Comet ISON will then be in the field of view of decent SC SPACE NAVY / NASA / GSESAUN cameras until the middle of January 2014*! We've got BRRISON ! Balloon Rapid Response for ISON! It's a a special stratospheric balloon that floats right above the top of Earth's atmosphere and it will haul around an awesome Robot/Computer/Camera/Sensor! will observe Comet ISON in the near-infrared and in the near-ultraviolet and visible wavelength ranges at an altitude of 120,000 feet. The near infrared camera will measure the ratio of carbon dioxide (CO2) to water (H2O) emissions from the cometary nuclei as a vital diagnostic of the comet's origins. Oh. And, the last week broke Meteor, Meteorites and Fireball records. I even saw a giant yellow & green one over Texas. It came from the South East. It was huge, bright and lasted about 7 seconds. That's what she said???. ugh. sorry.
Oh yeah. And, Our Government is about to shut down. So if NASA got hit very hard by the sequester, I imagine the shutdown will shut them down. Alas, all this too must pass.
