Obamacare Enrollment Efforts Not Going As Planned in Florida

Defund Obamacare/ The Shark Tank By JAVIER MANJARRES The federally funded Enroll America program, whose goal is to sign people up to Obamacare, is having significant problems getting people to attend their meetings. Over the past couple of weeks, reports around the state of Florida have cited that these planned Enroll America have all lacked interest and attendance, prompting organizers to either cancel or postponed the events. Last week, two sign-up meetings planned in Miami-Dade County alone, were cancelled. One of the scheduled events we decided to attended was suppose to be held at a local minority-owned radio station. Upon arriving to the event, the station’s ownership was caught off-guard, as they were not aware that the event was even suppose to take place. The other event was simply cancelled because, according to the event organizer, “we couldn’t get enough people to come, and those that were going to come, cancelled.” Prior to these two events, another event held in Coral Gables, Florida, had a whopping (3) attendees show up. The Gables event proved to be a bit controversial, as the event turned out to be unauthorized by the Library in which it was held, possibly violating the Miami-Dade Public Libary System’s rules and policies. Florida Watchdog had a reporter at the event- Maygan Rollins told the participants that Enroll America is a nonpartisan organization, yet one volunteer said he was confused. “I get all these emails from different Obama off-shoots and only found out about (Enroll America) because you called me.
